Description

These Frozen Mango Yogurt Pops are a refreshing and healthy homemade treat perfect for warm days. Made with ripe mangoes, creamy Greek yogurt, a touch of honey or maple syrup for natural sweetness, and a hint of lemon juice, these popsicles offer a delicious balance of tropical flavor and creamy texture. They are easy to prepare and require just a few ingredients, making them an ideal cool-down snack or dessert that the whole family can enjoy.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruits

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped

Dairy

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)

Sweeteners and Flavorings

  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the mangoes: Place the peeled and chopped mangoes into a blender and blend until you achieve a smooth puree with no lumps.
  2. Add remaining ingredients: Add the plain Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to the mango puree. Blend again until the mixture is fully combined and creamy.
  3. Fill the molds: Pour the blended mixture evenly into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
  4. Insert sticks and freeze: Insert popsicle sticks into each mold and place the molds in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until the popsicles are completely solid.
  5. Unmold the popsicles: To remove the popsicles from the molds, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds to loosen them. Gently pull the popsicles out and enjoy.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, replace Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt and use maple syrup as the sweetener.
  • Make sure the mangoes are fully ripe for the best natural sweetness and smooth texture.
  • If you do not have popsicle molds, small paper cups and wooden sticks can be used as an alternative.
  • Adjust the sweetness to taste by adding more or less honey or maple syrup as preferred.
  • Keep the popsicles stored in an airtight container or wrapped individually to prevent freezer burn.
