Ingredients
Scale
Fruits
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
Dairy
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)
Sweeteners and Flavorings
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Blend the mangoes: Place the peeled and chopped mangoes into a blender and blend until you achieve a smooth puree with no lumps.
- Add remaining ingredients: Add the plain Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to the mango puree. Blend again until the mixture is fully combined and creamy.
- Fill the molds: Pour the blended mixture evenly into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
- Insert sticks and freeze: Insert popsicle sticks into each mold and place the molds in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until the popsicles are completely solid.
- Unmold the popsicles: To remove the popsicles from the molds, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds to loosen them. Gently pull the popsicles out and enjoy.
Notes
- For a vegan version, replace Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt and use maple syrup as the sweetener.
- Make sure the mangoes are fully ripe for the best natural sweetness and smooth texture.
- If you do not have popsicle molds, small paper cups and wooden sticks can be used as an alternative.
- Adjust the sweetness to taste by adding more or less honey or maple syrup as preferred.
- Keep the popsicles stored in an airtight container or wrapped individually to prevent freezer burn.
