Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Grease a 9″x13″ baking tray with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy removal of the treats.
- Melt Butter: Place a large pot on low heat and melt the ½ cup butter slowly to avoid burning.
- Add Sugar Cookie Mix: Stir in the ½ cup sugar cookie dry mix continuously and cook for 1 minute, allowing the flavors to combine with the melted butter.
- Incorporate Marshmallows: Add the entire 10-ounce bag of marshmallows to the pot and stir continuously until they are fully melted and smoothly blended with the butter and sugar cookie mixture.
- Add Cereal: Remove the pot from heat and gently fold in the 6 cups of Rice Krispies Cereal with a spatula or wooden spoon. For easier stirring, spray the spatula with cooking spray to reduce sticking.
- Mix Mini Marshmallows and Sprinkles: Once the cereal is evenly coated, fold in the 1/3 cup mini marshmallows and 2 tablespoons of sprinkles. Some mini marshmallows will melt slightly, adding extra gooey texture.
- Transfer to Pan: Spread the mixture gently into the prepared pan in an even layer. Avoid pressing too hard to maintain a light, crispy texture; press just enough to hold the mixture together.
- Decorate: Sprinkle extra sprinkles evenly over the top for a festive, colorful appearance.
