Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to get it ready for baking the flatbread pizza.
- Prepare the baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and place the flatbread on top as your pizza base.
- Add mozzarella and spices: Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the flatbread, then sprinkle garlic powder and black pepper across the cheese for flavor.
- Add vegetable toppings: Layer the torn fresh spinach, sliced red onion, sliced garlic cloves, and crumbled feta cheese on top of the mozzarella. Sprinkle sea salt to taste to finish your toppings.
- Drizzle with olive oil: Lightly drizzle extra virgin olive oil over the assembled pizza to enhance the flavors and help the crust crisp up.
- Bake the pizza: Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges of the flatbread are golden and crispy.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and let the pizza cool slightly for a few minutes. Slice into wedges and enjoy your tasty spinach and feta flatbread pizza!
Notes
- The flatbread base can be substituted with naan or pita bread if preferred.
- For extra flavor, you can add red pepper flakes or oregano before baking.
- Ensure the spinach is fresh and torn rather than chopped to retain texture after baking.
- Use a low-moisture mozzarella for best melt and less sogginess.
- Leftover flatbread pizza can be stored in the fridge and reheated in the oven for crispiness.
